packaging and collections

When you're mining, you want to have your things safe. To package it you want to use bubble wrap, or some fluff. you should also have some zip-lock bags or cloth ones that zip up. Also a note book and pencil would be nice to record what you found. If you find something really nice, take a picture of the land you found it on. There are also really nice tourmalien mines in Maine and Calafornia.

                            where to buy and mine
if you want to go some where reasonable, then there's Hercemer mines, there is stores, there is the rock and mineral show and you can always do it at home. to do it at home you need gear. you need goggles and a mining hammer and bags and proper clothing. if you want quartz, then look for a medium sized, orange pebble. Then take the mining hammer and hammer it, but not to hard. It should break. Remember to have goggles on when hammering. Examine it closely and then if you see some thing, then tap it again. keep on tapping it until you get the quartz out. When you are shopping for rocks and minerals, you get what you can afford easily, and looks nice to you. I would advise to get raw unpolished rocks. But if you do get them, make sure to get a normal one with it. and
                           LABLE ALL OF YOUR ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this site is about geology. I collect rocks and minerals. If you want to start the hobby, there is a great place that sells rocks and minerals annually. But the other thing that you can do is search around and look. you can also go to mines (I find it to have more pleasure then to buy stuff). You want the rocks to be sicure, so try to get a metal box and a couple other littler boxes. Try to lable all of the rocks and crystals. You may event bother  to get some felt if you have some really nice stuff.
